GAC Goes On the Road with Montgomery Gentry

Network sponsors Fall tour with concert ticket giveaways
NASHVILLE, Tenn.- (August 10, 2006) - Following the success of the Great American Country (GAC) Summer Bus Tour, GAC returns to the road by hitching a ride with the dynamic country duo Montgomery Gentry as the television media sponsor of their fall tour.

The tour sponsorship begins October 12, just five days before the duo's new album Some People Change hits stores. The sponsorship includes ticket giveaways in each city and Montgomery Gentry Tailgate Parties for GAC viewers in four select cities.

"We brought the excitement of the Montgomery Gentry performance to our viewers with our 'Montgomery Gentry: Free to Rock' special on GAC recently," says Scott Durand, vice president of marketing for GAC. "Sponsoring their tour gives GAC a chance to provide our fans access to one of the most entertaining country concerts this fall and provide a fun and rare occasion where they can meet Montgomery Gentry."

Fans and fan club members can watch GAC for special Montgomery Gentry tour calendar announcements and log on to the special Montgomery Gentry webpage at GACtv.com to enter to win tickets to concerts and admission to the Montgomery Gentry Tailgate Parties.

"Our fans love the live shows as much as we do. When the music hits and the lights come on, they're all the same -- rednecking and ready to have a good time," says Eddie Montgomery.

Troy Gentry adds, "The partnership with GAC will help us play for even larger crowds. There is nothing better than having the fans sing along to all the hits. It's just an incredible experience."

Some People Change contains the current single and soon-to-be GAC video favorite "Some People Change" along with other singles on the new CD that reflect the continued growth of Montgomery Gentry.
