NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- (September 6, 2006) - With album titles "The Road and Radio" and the highly anticipated "Live Those Songs Again," it's no secret Kenny Chesney likes to be on the road performing. Therefore, "the road" was the appropriate place for GAC host Storme Warren to catch up with the superstar entertainer to find out just why the stage is so appealing. "Conversations from the Road with Kenny Chesney," is a two-hour interview special taped hours before his concert in Birmingham, Ala. and will premiere September 16 at 9 p.m. ET on GAC.

"Kenny is one of the most exciting performers in the industry and has brought his concerts to more than a million people every year for the past five years," says Sarah Trahern, senior vice president of programming for GAC. "This show will give fans the answers they want about this multi-platinum artist's life on the road."

Interviewed in the tropical setting of his famous backstage "Vibe Room," Chesney spoke in-depth with Warren about memories of early college gigs, lessons he has learned on the road and the special connection he feels with fans when performing live. The superstar also answered several fan questions chosen from the thousands of e-mails sent in to GACTV.COM.

"You know I'm just a kid from the mountains of East Tennessee who went to every show I could afford 'cause I loved music and the energy so much," confesses Chesney. "So when it was my name on the tickets, I wanted to make sure I gave those kids buying my tickets everything I'd hoped to get when I went to concerts. THAT, to me, is what it's all about."

The show also features segments with Keith Urban, Pat Green, Gretchen Wilson and many more recalling their experiences of touring with Chesney. Plus, top poll-voted videos from, videos highlighting songs off Chesney's upcoming LIVE album "Live Those Songs Again," as well as the brand new video, "You Save Me."

Prior to the release of new CD, "Conversations from the Road with Kenny Chesney" will have encore presentations on Monday, September 18 at 8 p.m. ET and Tuesday, September 19 at 2 p.m. ET.
