March 14, 2007 Alan Jackson's wife of 27 years, Denise Jackson, is the special guest in his latest video, "A Woman's Love", which debuts on GAC today. The video, which was filmed last month in Alan's garage in Nashville, with additional filming in Los Angeles, features animation throughout, in addition to Jackson's live action performance. "A Woman's Love" is from the critically acclaimed Like Red on a Rose album which was produced by Alison Krauss. This week, "A Woman's Love" hits Top 15 on Mediabase and l7 on R&R.
Honey, the directorial team for the video, has worked on projects as varied as "The Matrix," "Blade 2," the Emmy Award-winning "Dreamkeeper," the Academy Award-winning "What Dreams May Come" and videos for KT Tunstall, Rage Against the Machine and numerous others. The animation was created by James Montalbano, Ralph "Wot A" Zondag and Mark "U" Pudleiner.
Just last week, Alan announced a spring/summer tour with Brooks & Dunn that kicks off May 10 in Virginia Beach. He performed at the Grand Ole Opry over the weekend, and he will also perform at the CMA Music Festival in June.
