March 29, 2007 — The Australian media is once again speculating that Keith Urban's wife, actress Nicole Kidman, is pregnant with the couple's baby.
This time, Australia's Woman's Day magazine claims that after months of fertility treatment, Nicole has told family and friends that she and Keith are expecting their first child.
Although there has been no confirmation of the rumors, Keith has been talking about becoming a father in recent interviews. "I am looking forward to fatherhood," he told Australia's Sunday Telegraph. "I have always wanted to be a good dad. My brother's got two kids and he's an excellent dad, and I think we both have that sense of being home and being solid family guys."
Keith is already stepfather to Nicole's two children, Isabella and Connor, but he says he has always longed to father his own child. "I don't get to see the kids as much as probably a lot of stepdads would, but it is a good relationship," he said of Nicole's kids, who spend much of their time with their father, actor Tom Cruise.
