October 22, 2007 — Tanya Tucker, who now lives in Malibu, Calif., had to evacuate her daughter and pets from their home yesterday when the wildfires engulfing Southern California raged through her community.
Tanya, who is currently in Las Vegas, said yesterday, "My 18-year-old daughter, Presley, had to leave the house with our four dogs. We woke up in horror this morning; it was very chaotic."
Soon after Presley was evacuated, fire helicopters began dowsing the residence with water to keep the fire from spreading. "All my stage clothing, boots, belts and wardrobe are in that house," Tanya says. "I have so much memorabilia since I just moved from Nashville to Malibu."
