February 5, 2008 — Jessica Harp, who became familiar to country fans as one-half of the Wreckers, got married yesterday to Jason Mowery, who played fiddle in the group.

The ceremony took place at an art gallery, CJ's Off The Square, in Franklin, Tenn., attended by a small group of family and friends. Chocolate and aqua were the official colors for the wedding, and music for the reception, also at CJ's, was determined by a list of favorite songs requested from everyone on the guest list.

"Growing up, you and your girlfriends talk about getting married, who you will marry, the kind of wedding you want — [yesterday] exceeded all of my expectations," Jessica said. "Jason and I feel incredibly lucky to have such amazing family and friends to share this wonderful moment with."

Their engagement was announced publicly in July when the Wreckers, which featured Jessica and Michelle Branch, recorded a live CD/DVD. Both women have said they will record solo projects before returning to work on another Wreckers album, though Michelle is quoted in Entertainment Weekly saying the duo is "gone for good."
