February 21, 2008 - Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson recently completed their unique 2 Worlds 2 Voices Tour, and the results were excellent for everyone concerned. The concert took a unique approach: Instead of having Kelly open for Reba, the two stayed on stage together and served up duet versions of their songs. They reportedly sold out every date along the way, playing to more than 125,000 people during their 15 concerts.

Reba became a fan of Kelly way back during the first season of American Idol, and they ended up singing together on an Idol TV special and on the album Reba Duets. But her vocal work is not the only thing about Kelly that impresses Reba.

"I saw another side of Kelly Clarkson," Reba told Dial-Global. "She's a tremendous actress. I thought, 'Golly, I ought to do a movie with this kid. She is great.' And I saw a part of her on the comedic side when she guest-starred on the 'Reba' TV show. So again, I'm in awe. I'm very fascinated by her talent. I don't think anybody's really tapped into everything she can do yet, and I said 'yet' with a big, capital Y."

With their joint tour over, Kelly has some Australian dates on her calendar. And Reba is doing some solo performances, too, including a benefit for the Oasis Center in Nashville. She appears April 16 at the annual Divas NashVegas fundraiser, with gospel singer Yolanda Adams and emcee Melissa Peterman, who played the troublesome Barbra Jean on the Reba sitcom.
