April 11, 2008 - Jack Ingram and Miranda Lambert will help GAC celebrate the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards, set for May 18 in Las Vegas. Jack and Miranda will be on hand May 5 for the ACM Video Preview, one of 11 shows GAC is presenting in the run-up to the awards.
The previews begin April 28 with ACM Showcase: Top New Male Nominees as host Bill Cody gets an inside perspective from finalists Luke Bryan, Jack Ingram and Jake Owen. The three weeks of preview coverage culminates May 18 on ACM Red Carpet LIVE, in which hosts Suzanne Alexander and Nan Kelley gauge the excitement of the night's big names during their arrivals.
"The spontaneity of the orange carpet makes the coverage a blast!" Suzanne says.
Storme Warren will also contribute during the schedule on Country Music Across America as the network explores the breadth of the Academy's finalists, including Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Rodney Atkins, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts.
