June 27, 2008 — Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are rather famously expecting a baby these days, and the learning curve for the big event became an amusing topic on Nashville radio this week.

Keith went on the air Tuesday with WSIX air personality Gerry House, who asked if he was taking Lamaze classes with Nicole. Keith said he was not, but one listener disputed that story in a phone call.

"Hi, this is Keith’s wife!" Nicole told Gerry. "Actually, Keith has been doing Lamaze lessons. He is selling himself short. He doesn’t know the name [of the classes], but he has been very good at it."

Ever the comic, Gerry asked Nicole if she could pick up a salad for him on the way to the station, and when she arrived 20 minutes later, she indeed presented him a salad.

"I have no intention of eating this," Gerry insisted. "Are you kidding? Lunch delivered by Nicole Kidman? I’m having it bronzed!"

Keith and Nicole celebrated their second wedding anniversary the next day. According to People, the day had a low-key start: pastries at a Starbucks and lunch at a Whole Foods store with Monty Powell, a co-writer of Keith’s hits "Days Go By" and "Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me."
