July 3, 2008 — Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift have one of the top summer concert attractions with the Bob That Head Tour, and both artists join host Suzanne Alexander on this week’s edition of GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown.
Their visit comes at a time when both acts have plenty to talk about. Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney is a dad for the first time, and the band’s Still Feels Good album was recently certified double-platinum. Plus, they picked up the Academy of Country Music’s Top Vocal Group honor in May for the sixth straight year, tying a record held by Alabama. Meanwhile, Taylor won Top New Female Vocalist, her "Picture To Burn" was certified gold, and her new single — "Should’ve Said No" — debuts at No. 12 on this week’s countdown. Both artists have also filmed spots for the 2009 film Hannah Montana: The Movie.

A new countdown premieres every Friday at 8 p.m. ET on GAC and airs again Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET; Sundays at 1 p.m. ET; and Mondays at 10 a.m. ET.
