July 22, 2008 Jewels latest video landed on GACs Top 20 Country Countdown in the most recent edition of the show, with the singer-songwriter behind the wheel of a sports car in the climax of "I Do."
Jewel shares screen time with her boyfriend, rodeo pro Ty Murray, in the piece, and her role is one that apparently suits her background.
"Like most kids raised on a ranch, I started driving tractors before I started driving cars, which thankfully got me acquainted with a stick shift," she says. "So years later when I got to be on ABCs Fast Cars And Superstars series, where I competed with other celebrities racing stock cars, I had an advantage because several of the other competitors had only driven automatics. I love driving! For purely selfish reasons, I wanted to drive old muscle cars for my video I Do. I did my own stunts, and so did Ty. It was so fun having him in the video since I pretty much wrote the song about him."
Jewels been performing the song this summer during her concerts with Brad Paisley on the Paisley Party Tour, where shes also been spotted duetting with Brad on the classic "Thats The Way Love Goes." Also appearing on the GAC-sponsored tour are Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough.
