Sept. 4, 2008 Taylor Swift is a big deal in the U.S., but now shes making waves on the other side of the Atlantic as well.
Taylor was set to make her European concert debut last night with a performance at Kings College in London in what continues to be a whirlwind experience. Barely out of high school, shes already a magazine queen, a major award-winner and a cant-miss hitmaker. And in addition to her own road schedule, shes been spotted in the audience and onstage at numerous Jonas Brothers concerts.
The U.K. date only adds to the whirlwinds intensity. On the heels of that sold-out show, shell be back in Los Angeles on Sunday for the MTV Video Music Awards, then she zig-zags back to New York for Wednesdays announcement of the Country Music Association awards nominees with Rascal Flatts. She joins the Flatts again the next night in Virginia Beach when the Bob That Head Tour resumes.
In the middle of all that travel, look for Taylor as the co-host of Mondays ABC special "CMA Music Fest: Countrys Night To Rock" with Julianne Hough and Kellie Pickler. Also featured on the program are Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, Rodney Atkins and Miranda Lambert.
