Dec. 3, 2008 — Taylor Swift writes her songs about real people and real experiences, and she’s often been willing to identify the target of her inspiration either in the lyrics or in hidden messages in the liner notes on her albums.

Her new Fearless CD includes a song called "Hey Stephen" in which she outlines her attraction for a guy who, it turns out, is a singer in a local Nashville band. The phrase Love And Theft is spelled out in the liner notes, according to People magazine, and it turns out that the band Love And Theft features singer Stephen Barker Liles. Supposedly they never dated, though she thought he was cute and they’ve since become friends. She's even featured on their MySpace page.

Currently, of course, Taylor’s been nursing a broken heart after since split with Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. Even though lost romance is a theme in her music and her life, she still believes in love.

"I’m going to meet somebody someday who is so wonderful, and I’m not even going to remember the other guys," she told People. "Later on, I definitely want to fall in love and get married and have kids. I believe in love completely, wholeheartedly."

Taylor is on tap to co-host the Grammy nominations special Wednesday on CBS.
