"I did an on-camera interview with Erika Lathon from Fox's Nashville affiliate, WZTV, before making my Grand Ole Opry debut. The folks at Fox are always really nice."

"There was a group of 60 or more fans from across the country that came to Nashville for my Opry debut. I was flying in from a show in Florida that day, but when I found out about it I had to stop in and say hello and thank you to all my fans. So we met in the Magnolia lobby of the Opryland Hotel and I got to take pictures and sign autographs with everyone."

"It was fun hanging with everyone but now it's time to leave for the Opry House so I can rehearse with the Opry band."

"I parked backstage and walked through the artist entrance to the Opry House. Everyone has to check in before they're allowed backstage and they also tell you which dressing room you're assigned to. The guy next to me is my manager, Ron Harris."

"I rehearsed with the Opry band and singers before taking the stage that night. In Nashville they write up their music charts so that if we needed to change the key at the last minute they wouldn't have to rework the music. The band, the background singers, the sound guys, the light guys – everybody was completely awesome." Photo by Cindy Heath, courtesy of Lyric Street Records

"Here I am with the Opry's bandleader, Steve Gibson. He was showing me some of the Opry's many guitars. Great guy!" Photo by Cindy Heath, courtesy of Lyric Street Records

"'American Idol Extra' sent a camera crew to Nashville to get an interview with me before I made my Opry debut. Here I am in my dressing room during the interview."

"Mark Nesler (l), one of the co-writers of my first single "A Different World," came out to the Opry that night to see my debut. My brother Rocky also came out too."

"Little Jimmy Dickens introduced me as I was making my Grand Ole Opry debut. What a character. Funny jokes – as soon as you tell a good joke, I'm your best friend. And little – he's just a little ol' feller. Fits his name to a T." Superfan Bonus Code: Scenic Photo by Chris Hollo, courtesy of Lyric Street Records

"Before leaving the Opry I checked out the program book and saw my name listed next to Del McCoury and Little Jimmy Dickens. How awesome is that! I’m coming back to play the Opry again on April 7, and this time it’ll be on TV, on GAC. So all my fans that couldn’t catch the show this past weekend can watch it on GAC when I go back to play the Opry again in a few weeks."
