Settle into this charming log cabin nestled in the woods on the banks of the Cumberland River and you might easily forget that you're less than 15 miles from downtown Nashville and just minutes away from Opryland and the Grand Ole Opry. True, there's no room service or fitness center, but if you have your own wheels and don't need the amenities and services of a mainstream hotel, this is perhaps the sweetest place to stay in all of Music City.
The cabin has two bedrooms (one king bed and one queen), two full bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace, and a large screened-in porch overlooking the river. Breakfast is not provided, but there's a modern and fully equipped kitchen with an adjacent dining area, and housekeeping service is included. And while the setting might seem rustic, the cabin is equipped with a big-screen TV, central heating and air conditioning and other modern comforts.
Rates range from $205 to $280 a night. Pets and children under age 10 are not permitted, and smoking is only allowed on the porch.
