Apr. 27, 2006 While Joe Don Rooney enjoys his honeymoon with Playboy Playmate Tiffany Fallon, his group Rascal Flatts earns a third week at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 and Top Country Albums chart with Me and My Gang. The trio has kept big releases from Toby Keith, Pink and the Disney's soundtrack to High School Musical from reaching the top spot. Me and My Gang has sold over one million copies since its release on April 4. The Rascal Flatts' Me And My Gang tour resumes on May 26 with a show in New Jersey.
Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus tells X Radio it feels good to be a headliner. "It's really, really gratifying to be able to do a lot of our music for the fans," he says. "In the past, you know, you're in opening slots and you're probably doing thirty to forty minutes. It leaves very little time to do a lot of the things that you want to explore and I think for us, one of the great things is we not only get to do our things collectively as Rascal Flatts, but in our show now, we also get to showcase ourselves individually."
