Josh Turner sings with Don Williams

March 20, 2006 — Josh Turner joined country legend Don Williams on stage recently at Don's show in Nashville. Josh joined Don and The Platters on the stage to sing the classic, "Lord I Hope This Day Is Good." Josh has long been a fan of Don's and recorded Don's 1991 Top 10 song, "Lord Have Mercy On A Country Boy," which appears on Josh's latest album Your Man. "This is the first time I've ever had the chance to see Don in concert," says Josh. "I was honored that he asked me sing with him onstage. I had him sign my guitar (that includes — to name a few — Clint Black, John Anderson, Eddie Arnold, Vince Gill and Emmy Lou Harris). I've stopped using that guitar... I've rubbed Marty Stuart off completely and I am close to rubbing Hank Jr. off... that guitar is getting retired!"
