April 24, 2006Last Friday, April 21, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill kicked off their Soul2Soul II tour in Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus Dispatch says, "Together or apart, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw put on a dazzling show to open their Soul2Soul II tour last night in a sold-out Nationwide Arena ... Hill scored with strong vocals on 'The Lucky One,' 'This Kiss' and 'Piece of My Heart,' and McGraw's bad-boy persona and vulnerable voice connected on songs such as 'When the Stars Go Blue,' 'Unbroken' and 'Live Like You Were Dying' ... At the end, Hill and McGraw were sitting across from each other, singing into an old-fashioned microphone. The evening ended with a kiss, and the happily married couple walked hand in hand through the satisfied audience."
Look for Tim and Faith next weekend, April 28-30, as they perform three nights in a row in Chicago, Ill. In related Tim and Faith news, the couple tied with the President and First Lady, George and Laura Bush, for second place in a recent survey that asked Americans which celebrity couples they would invite to their backyard barbecues. In the poll, sponsored by Smokey Bones Barbeque, Bill Clinton and his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton, took first place.
