May 23, 2006--Lee Ann Womack and Tracy Byrd will appear in Noble Things, an independent film directed by Vidor, Texas native Brett Moses. Lee Ann reportedly will play the lead role as the sheriff of a fictional Texas town called Edgewater. Tracy is portraying a famous country singer who comes back to the town to mentor up-and-comer Jimmy Collins, the film's main character. According to TheExaminer.com, production on Noble Things will begin in southeast Texas in July.
