Lynyrd Skynyrd And...George Jones?

June 14, 2006--Countrynation.com reports that if Ricky Medlocke of Lynyrd Skynyrd has his way, the group will be hitting the studio to record a song with country legend George Jones. "We've written a song--it's a Skynyrd tune," says Ricky. "Skynyrd could do it because it rocks, but I swear to God George Jones could help sing it," he tells Online Rock Radio. "Let's get George Jones to sing with Lynyrd Skynyrd. The rebels and a real rebel. You can't get more rebel than driving your tractor or your lawnmower down the highway drunk," adds Ricky, referring to the now-classic George Jones "lawnmower incident" from the early '70s.
