Eric Church Gets Key To The City

June 21, 2006--Allaboutcountry.com reports that "How 'Bout You" singer Eric Church got a welcome surprise when he performed in North Carolina last week. Granite Falls Mayor Barry Hayes presented Eric with the key to his hometown of Granite Falls, NC. The presentation was made at a boisterous luncheon, filled with family and friends, which featured Eric's favorite barbecue. The event took place before Eric's gigs opening for Brad Paisley and Sara Evans in Raleigh and Charlotte, and just before he played a sold-out solo date in the adjoining town of Lenoir, NC.
