July 20, 2006--Jake Owen's debut album, Startin’ With Me, will be released July 25. But there's one more reason for the "Yee Haw" singer to shout?well, "Yee haw." He's been tapped to perform that hit single on ABC’s Good Morning America on August 2.

"I’m excited and nervous at the same time," says Jake. "Being in front of those cameras that are tapped in to all the TV’s across the country, waiting for me to tell my little story pretty quickly without tripping all over myself? Yeah I’m a little nervous."

It was only a few years ago that Jake was playing Potbelly’s bar in Tallahassee, Fla. "I remember that bar stool and the smell of that bar, when everybody was there and beer was flowin’. And looking back, no way did I think that two years later I’d be singing on Good Morning America and I’d have an album coming out. It’s incredible."

In addition to a cross-country radio tour to promote his album, Jake is spending the summer on The Road & The Radio tour, opening for Kenny Chesney.
