December 18, 2006 — Lonestar will pay tribute to soldiers and their families after the 2007 U.S. Army All-American Bowl on January 6. The band will perform a 45-minute concert following the Bowl at the Alamodome to honor the men and women of the United States Army.

Bowl fans will have opportunity to enjoy Lonestar's "Army All-American Tribute to the Troops Concert" firsthand, while soldiers and their families in 177 countries will later enjoy the concert on American Forces Radio and Television.

"Soldiers gravitate toward county music because it is about life," says Dean Sams. "Messages in our music resonate with military members because they are real, they tell a story. We pay tribute to our soldiers during every performance because we appreciate our military folks and we want to do our little part to remind everyone of their sacrifice."
