December 21, 2006 — Gretchen Wilson joined some of the world's top ice skaters to tape her first network special, "Gretchen Wilson's Country on Ice." The show, which was filmed before a live audience in the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, will be broadcast on NBC on December 23.

Gretchen and her 3/4 Ton Band performed a 12-song live concert with her full lights-and-sound set as the skaters displayed their talents in a variety of routines to her songs on the ice.

Four-time World Champion Kurt Browning skated to a crowd-pleasing "Rebel Child," while three-time U.S. men's champion Michael Weiss did his trademark back flip during "One Bud Wiser. World Champion and two-time Olympic medalist Irina Slutskaya, six-time U.S. champion and World Champion Todd Eldredge and other top skaters interpreted hits like "Redneck Woman," "Here For The Party," "When I Think About Cheating" and "California Girls" from Gretchen's Here For the Party and All Jacked Up albums, as well as her new hit "Come To Bed" and "Heaven Help Me" from her upcoming third album due out this spring.

All of the skaters were on the ice for the "All Jacked Up" finale, during which Gretchen's Minnesota-born band member Dan Hochhalter donned skates and jumped on the ice for his fiddle solo.
