February 6, 2007 — Keith Urban is suing Keith Urban. Keith the singer is going after a painter from New Jersey with the same name. The Smoking Gun reports that a lawsuit was filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Nashville accusing the painter Keith Urban of trying to sell art prints by misleading Internet users into believing his website, keithurban.com, is the star's online home. The site's home page reads, "Welcome to the wonderful world of Keith Urban. To those who don't know, oil painting is one of my hobbies."

Country music's Keith can be found on the web at keithurban.net. He is seeking unspecified damages, transfer of the keithurban.com address and "an injunction barring the New Jersey Urban from operating a website that suggests a relationship with the singer." Meanwhile, the more famous Keith has continues to add tour dates to his schedule.
