February 23, 2007 — The boys from Lonestar raised more than $140,000 for their favorite charities on "Wheel of Fortune" last week. Pat Sajak and Vanna White welcomed many of country music's hottest stars, from Wynonna to Montgomery Gentry, to spin the wheel for the charity of their choice.

Lonestar's Richie McDonald was the big winner on Wednesday night when he spun and won $61,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Thursday night the group's Michael Britt went to the bonus round and raised $59,350 for Adopt-A-Platoon (adoptaplatoon.org). Bandmates Dean Sams and Keech Rainwater also both took their shot at the wheel, and although they didn't make it to the bonus round, they did bring home $10,000 each for their charity of choice.

"Wheel of Fortune" worked with the Country Music Association to feature top country artists for the exciting week of shows. Additionally, the CMA provided prizes, including a trip to the 41st Annual CMA Awards and the CMA Music Festival.
