March 16, 2007 — Brooks & Dunn are looking forward to hitting the road this summer with their buddy Alan Jackson. The tour will begin in May and run well into the fall, with the two headliners playing 30 dates along with show openers Jake Owen and Catherine Britt.

According to the duo, they've wanted to tour with Alan for a long time but had one small hang-up. "We've been working on it for eight years and talking about it forever," Ronnie tells Dial-Global. "It always gets hung up when we ask about confetti. Alan goes, 'You're not going to shoot confetti are you?'"

"Oh, yeah — we'll have confetti," says Kix. "And then it's, 'What color?' I think it's been the color thing more than just the confetti stuff."

"We've kind of conjured up all these images of maybe what he's thinking," says Ronnie. "But that confetti thing — we need to tell him he can't have rose petals all over the stage."
