Clint Black Doesn't Have Time to Dance

March 26, 2007 — Don't look for Clint Black to appear on "Dancing With the Stars" anytime soon. Clint tells Dial-Global he was asked to participate during the show's first season but turned down the offer.

"I would have to work really hard to come up with the dance routines," Clint says. "It's a long commitment. I think it's about six weeks of preparation before you even get to the point where the show begins. And I don't want to make that kind of a time commitment to something that I just wouldn't be that passionate about. If somebody had a movie project that I really was into, then I could commit a big chunk of time. Music I can commit big chunks of time too, but that's about it."

Tune in to "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC at 8 p.m. ET tonight to watch Billy Ray Cyrus do the quick step to a Johnny Cash tune in the show's first elimination round.
