April 2, 2007 — Clay Walker is hoping to hit a home run with his upcoming album Fall, set for release on April 17. But first he will literally step up to the plate in a memorable home opener for the Houston Astros tonight. Clay will perform a special acoustic set before the game, as well as singing the National Anthem. Clay will also sing "God Bless America" during the 7th Inning Stretch.

"I love Houston," Clay says. "It's home and I'm proud to be an Astros fan. This is my first opening day and I am ecstatic to perform in front of my favorite fans!"

The Texas native's string of hits includes 11 No. 1 singles. He recently debuted the title track to his new album, "Fall," the follow-up to "'Fore She Was Mama."
