April 5, 2007 — After having major successes in her nonmusical ventures like television, movies and even a clothing line over the past few years, Reba McEntire says stepping on stage in front of big crowds each night is what gives her a real high.

"You get addicted to it," she tells Dial-Global. "It's like when you come home and your child runs to you with that open adoration and open unconditional love. That's what it feels like on stage when you get through with that opening number or when you first walk on stage, and the roar of the crowd is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard in my life."

Reba kicks off her "Key to the Heart" tour on April 13 and will play a handful of shows each month through August. She'll also be hosting the Academy of Country Music Awards show on May 15 and performing at the CMA Music Festival on June 10, her first appearance there in 11 years.
