April 6, 2007 Loretta Lynn and Rascal Flatts will be among the honorees when the Nashville Chapter of the Recording Academy holds its annual Honors celebration on Monday. The event, to be held at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, will also acknowledge the musical careers, achievements and contributions of the Fisk Jubilee Singers and Jars of Clay.
The annual gala celebrates accomplished music professionals and leaders who have supported the music community and community-at-large. The award is the highest honor awarded at the Chapter level.
Actress Andie MacDowell will host the event. Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Tanya Tucker, the Fisk Jubilee Singers and Sara Groves are set to sing. Marty Stuart will be among those making presentations.
