April 10, 2007 — Taylor Swift is balancing a schedule busier than most people twice her age. Dial-Global reports that the 17-year-old singer-songwriter says she is finding a way to successfully balance both school and work.

"I'm still a junior in high school, and, yes, I'm home schooled," she says. "I actually call it bus-schooling or road-schooling. I've finished all of my math credits, so now I'm just doing my science, English, and history credits. It's been pretty productive so far."

Taylor says when she had to write an English term paper recently about something that interested her, she picked the group Little Big Town. "I wrote this ten-page paper about them," she says. "When it came time to get a gift for them for their platinum album party, I just printed out my report and gave it to them!"

Taylor will continue her studies on the road this spring as she kicks off her opening spot on Brad Paisley's "Bonfires & Amplifiers" tour. She has also just been confirmed to appear at Chely Wright's 7th Annual Benefit Concert for the Reading, Writing & Rhythm foundation on June 5 during CMA Music Fest week.
