April 18, 2007 — Trace Adkins' new single, "I Wanna Feel Something," a ballad that explores the need to overcome complacency, is the third release from his gold-certified Dangerous Man album and the follow-up to his latest No 1 hit, "Ladies Love Country Boys."

"I recorded this song because I think the message is timely," Trace says of the song. "We're just so overwhelmed and bombarded with information that it's hard to get a rise out of us anymore — about anything. It seems like it has to be something really shocking for us to stop and go, Wow!"

"I Wanna Feel Something" also marks Trace's debut as a producer, teaming in that role with songwriting pals Casey Beathard and Kenny Beard. The song has already entered the charts at No. 44 on Mediabase and No. 52 in R&R.

Trace continues to headline his "Dangerous Man" tour throughout the country this summer. For complete schedule and latest news, visit: traceadkins.com.
