April 20, 2007 — Once again, country stars will gear up for the CMA Music Festival with Lonestar's annual bowling fund-raiser at the Hermitage Bowling Lanes near Nashville.

Lonestar & Friends Strike Out for the Kids Bowling Bash will take place June 4, and so far Troy Gentry, Buddy Jewell, Tracy Lawrence, SHeDAISY, Keni Thomas, Danielle Peck, Jimmy Wayne and Carolina Rain are lined up, with more artists to be announced later.

The stars have been invited to host bowling lanes for the party, and fans attending the event have a chance to bowl with them. Four lucky fans' names will be drawn to bowl a game with each artist. A silent auction will also be held throughout the evening, featuring items from some of country music's biggest stars. Each attending artist will receive a custom-made bowling shirt, which will be autographed by the artist and then auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Tickets to the event are $30 and include dinner and a chance to bowl with the stars. Proceeds from the event will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Go to countrycares.org for more information.
