May 17, 2007 — Clay Walker and his fiancée, fashion model Jessica Craig, have set a wedding date. Country Weekly reports that the couple will be married September 28 in New Orleans.
Clay popped the question in November on the steps of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Galveston, Tex., where Jessica's grandfather asked her grandmother to marry him. The romantic proposal included a carriage ride and a quartet singing "Edelweiss." The bride-to-be's parents and Clay's children from a previous marriage were in attendance and watched Clay kneel down as he washed Jessica's feet.
