May 17, 2007 — Nearly two months after Kellie Pickler debuted a new look on "American Idol," people are still asking her if she's had any plastic surgery.

When Kellie performed on the show in early March, she looked completely different than she had as a contestant on the show. She wore a low-cut blue dress and sported a shorter hairdo and curls.

Host Ryan Seacrest asked, "Have you spent your money on anything since you left us?" he asked. "Shoes...imagine that," replied Kellie, a self-professed shoe addict.

"Just shoes?" Ryan asked.

This week on his radio show, Ryan asked her even more directly, People magazine reports. Kellie refused to confirm that she had had any work done, but said, "You know me, Ryan, I like to be the center of attention, and right now me and the girls, we are pretty much getting a lot of attention. I like to keep it a mystery. Let the mystery live on because as soon as I say yes or no, then no one is going to care anymore."

Kellie says she's learned not to take it personally when people talk about her appearance. "You're the one that has to look at yourself every day and it's important that you're happy with what you see," she told WCNC in Charlotte, N.C. "You can't worry about what everyone else thinks because you cannot please everyone."
