Tammy Cochran Is Back with New CD

August 1, 2007 — Almost five years after her last album was released, Tammy Cochran is letting the world know where she's been with her new album, the aptly titled Where I Am.

Tammy's previous hits include "I Cry," "Life Happened," and the Top 10 hit "Angels in Waiting, written as a tribute to her two brothers — both of whom passed away from cystic fibrosis. Tammy continues to receive letters daily from fans who have been touched by the song's powerful and inspirational message.

Where I Am features 12 new songs — all of which she wrote or co-wrote — with themes ranging from finding love to chasing dreams to salvaging relationships to mending broken spirits.

Tammy says the gospel-flavored title track (also her current single), is about "going through hard times and realizing that the people who matter won't give up on you. My favorite line is, 'I've had to go through the worst to get to the best I've ever been.' "

Where I Am is available for purchase on Tammy's website, tammycochranfans.com, as well as amazon.com and cduniverse.com. A portion of the proceeds from each copy sold will go to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
