Canadian Country Music Award Noms Announced

August 2, 2007 — Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Terri Clark and Emerson Drive are the favorites among this year's list of talented CCMA nominees. Terri and Carolyn Dawn, each with five nominations, will compete for Female Artist of the Year. Emerson Drive, with nominations in four major categories, will go up against the Wilkinsons for Group or Duo of the year. Album of the Year nods went to artists including Carolyn Dawn for Love & Negotiation and Emerson Drive for Countrified.

The "2007 Canadian Country Music Association Awards" will air across Canada on September 10 at 8 p.m. (9 p.m. AST & 9:30 p.m. NF) on CBC TV, in the U.S. on Great American Country (GAC), and in Australia on Country Music Channel (CMC).
