August 10, 2007 — Rumors are still flying about a new project in the works for Garth Brooks. The Tennessean reports that Garth will release a greatest hits package with four new songs through an affiliation with Big Machine Records, which recently signed his wife, Trisha Yearwood.

Meanwhile, AllAboutCountry.com quotes sources as saying that the collection will contain 30 hits along with the four new songs on two CDs, as well as a DVD with 33 music videos. A press conference scheduled for Saturday, August 18, should shed more light on the project.
