August 13, 2007 — Big & Rich's Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace, released just nine weeks ago, has already achieved gold status certification by the RIAA. The album debuted No. 1 on Soundscan's current country albums chart and sales were fueled by the duo's first ever No. 1 single, "Lost In This Moment," which recently spent two weeks at the top of both the R&R and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts and also went gold.
"We can't believe the impact "Lost In This Moment" has had on our album sales," Big Kenny said. "To sell over a half million records off one single, in only nine weeks, is outstanding. I think it was just time that we had that song in our set, the one that people can cuddle up to and dance together out there."
John Rich added, "The exciting part is that this is just the beginning of what we feel is the best album of our career. There is just so much on this album that we are proud of and we can't wait to start digging into it."
Big & Rich's new single, "Between Raising Hell And Amazing Grace," is being released today. John and Kenny will shoot the video for the single in September in Los Angeles, where they'll have a chance to exercise their acting chops.
