August 13, 2007 Martina McBride has reached more than 80 million impressions through television exposure since the April launch of her most recent release Waking Up Laughing. The recent ABC News special, "Six Degrees of Martina McBride," contributed to a career-high level of TV exposure for Martina.
Martina's media exposure should only increase this month with upcoming performances on the "Today" show's Summer Concert Series on August 24 and the CBS Saturday "Early Show" the following day. On September 6, she will join performers including Fergie, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Lopez and Maroon 5 among others for Fashion Rocks on CBS. She will also grace the covers of Reader's Digest in October and USA Weekend on November 4.
Martina's exposure rivals musical artists of all genres. In addition to being in demand in the media, she just finished a 52-date nationwide tour to rave reviews and is currently the highest selling solo female country touring act of 2007, according to Pollstar.
In the past four months, she has been asked to appear on numerous national television shows including "American Idol," "The View," "Good Morning America," "Live with Regis and Kelly" and Macy's July 4th Fireworks Spectacular. Her current single, "How I Feel," is featured in the launch of Crest's new Natures Expression toothpaste.
