August 13, 2007 — An obsessed British fan who played Dolly Parton songs all day and night may start singing the blues instead after being threatened with an anti-social behavior order, metro.co.uk reports.

Diane Duffin, a 36-year-old woman from Leeds in northern England, has had her stereo, DVD player, television, computer and CD collection confiscated by police after neighbors complained about her blasting out Dolly Parton hits at top volume for months on end. She may also be evicted.

Diane reportedly has been making life a misery for people living near her by playing hits like "9 to 5" and Dolly's rendition of the Tammy Wynette classic, "Stand By Your Man," at all hours of the day and night.

"I was getting called to pick my son up from school because he was so tired he was almost falling asleep in class," said neighbor Joanne Kempston. "After that we had to take him to his grandma's to sleep."

But the Dolly fan insisted it was "normal family noise" and said she felt victimized. She claimed her 15-year-old son, Josh, played the songs more often than her. "It's got sentimental value to him," she said. She admitted they both "like Dolly Parton," and "do play it a lot," but "don't disturb anyone."
