October 8, 2007 — Trick Pony is searching for another lead singer, as Aubrey Collins, in search of a solo future, has left bandmates Keith Burns & Ira Dean.

Aubrey became Heidi Newfield's replacement earlier this year when Heidi left to pursue her own solo career.

"I really enjoyed my time working with Keith and Ira," Aubrey says. "This opportunity was amazing and I had a lot of fun getting to know them both. We jelled great in our live performances, but in the studio and with our songwriting we had different creative and musical visions.

"Keith hit the nail on the head when he said to me how some people were made to be solo artists and some were made to be in a group," she continues. "I have always believed I am a solo artist and I have to pursue my gut feelings. I wish them both all the success in the world, and I look forward to my future in this business."
