November 8, 2007 — Fans can catch up on everything going on in Toby Keith's busy life in two special one-hour editions of GAC Nights on November 11, starting at 8 p.m. ET.

Host Suzanne Alexander joined Toby during his Big Dog Daddy tour to discuss his first holiday album in 12 years, A Toby Keith Classic Christmas, his No. 1 single, "Love Me If You Can" and his upcoming movie, Beer for My Horses.

Toby recalls feeling an instant connection when he heard what is now his 23rd No. 1 single, "Love Me If You Can," written by GAC "Hitman" Craig Wiseman and Chris Wallin. "When I heard it, I said this is the message I've been trying to say my whole life," he says.

Keith also gives Suzanne the lowdown on his upcoming movie, in which he plays a local deputy in a small Oklahoma town who makes an arrest that puts him and his fellow officers in far over their heads. He created the concept for the movie and co-wrote the script with comedian Rodney Carrington, who also stars in the film, along with Ted Nugent.

"This movie is different from the video with Willie Nelson," he says. "It's more of a comedy — Smokey and the Bandit> meets 48 Hours," he says.

Acting plays second fiddle to Toby's true love: performing onstage. Credited with giving newer acts such as Flynnville Train, also on his Show Dog label, and Miranda Lambert opening act spots on his tour, Toby shares his opinions on how new country artists can survive in the industry.

"This industry has a lot of times tried to push me in the corner and tried to get me to do things," he says. "Once I decided I'm going to sing my music, dress out of my closet and be myself, that's when my career exploded." There are some people out there getting by on faking it — they shake the right hands and play the game. The only game you need to play is to be creative, be yourself, do your music and let the fans decide. Nothing else matters except that."
