"GAC focuses on the country fan. That's what we do," says Garth. "We're on country radio, our shows are country music, and GAC is country music, so it just makes sense."

Garth initially planned to play one concert in Kansas City on November 14, but the public's desire to see his return to the stage prompted him to expand the number of live shows. Tickets for all nine performances sold out in less than two hours.

"GAC has been sweet enough to help us share this experience with millions of people," says Garth. "If there's that many people who want to see it, then GAC is going to be our home and that's where you're going to be able to find us."

GAC will present encore showings of the concert special at midnight Friday and on Saturday November 24 at 10 p.m. ET. Check GACTV.com for future air times.

Garth Brooks recently was honored as the No. 1 selling solo artist in American music history, with album sales in excess of 123 million. His stage shows became legendary for their energy and audience involvement. When Garth entered a self-imposed retirement to spend time with his three daughters, he pledged not to tour again until his youngest, now 11, graduated from high school.
