November 28, 2007 — Fellow Texans Tracy Byrd, Mark Chesnutt and Zona Jones will join forces for a three-day-long series of charity events called the Beaumont Boys Bash in Beaumont, Tex., on April 25-27.
The bash is an extension of Tracy's Homecoming Weekend, which raised money for local charities annually until 2005 when Hurricane Rita forced its cancellation.
Activities at the Beaumont Bash will include a Wild Game and Casino Night hosted by Mark at Ford Arena, a Big Bass Tournament hosted by Tracy at Lake Sam Rayburn, and a golf tournament at Bayou Din Golf Club hosted by Zona. All three will perform a concert together at Ford Pavilion with another yet-to-be-determined headliner.
Proceeds from the weekend will go to Children's Miracle Network in Beaumont, Netcasters Youth Ministries, the Garth House, Boys' and Girls' Haven and the Southeast Texas Humane Society.
