April 18, 2008 - Taylor Swift continues her dazzling rise to stardom with another rare achievement for a country singer: She's now appearing on the cover of "Rolling Stone" magazine.
The "Best of Rock 2008" issue, which hits newsstands today, has her among a dozen artists of current significance on its front jacket. Taylor is the only country singer in the group, which also includes Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Robert Plant, Bono and Chris Brown, among others.
The photo was taken at Taylor's home in Hendersonville, Tenn., and it puts her in rare company. Among the few country stars who've graced the cover of Rolling Stone are Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn.
Taylor will also be featured April 29 in the Summer Concert Series on ABC-TV's Good Morning America. Of course, you can also see her on GAC. She has two videos "Picture To Burn" and "I'm Only Me When I'm With You" currently in the Top 10 on the Top 20 Country Countdown.
