June 16, 2008 — Terri Clark’s name has been associated for years with hit records and sold-out concerts, and now it’s part of a Fender Signature guitar. The Terri Clark Fender Acoustic Guitar has an abalone and pearl "TC" inlay and makes her one of the few women who’ve had a guitar model named after them.

"For as long as I can remember, the guitar has been like my right arm," Terri says. "I started playing at a very young age, even before I took up singing. It has been my compadre and the first thing I look to when I need a friend. I truly believe I may not have achieved what I have [as an artist] if I had not been a player. I accompanied myself through every live label and publishing audition and played for tips so I could buy bread and milk when I first moved to Nashville."

Among the other acts who’ve had their name applied to a Fender guitar are Sting, John Mayer and Eric Clapton.
