Oct. 23, 2008 — Craig Morgan’s current single, "Love Remembers," takes a long look back at snapshots from the early part of a relationship, and it’s connected with enough country fans that the song reached the Top 15 on the Country Aircheck chart this week.

Craig relates well to the sentiment of "Love Remembers" since he’s been with the same woman for two decades, and he says his favorite definition of love is one that was voiced by Paul Newman. Asked for his sense of what it is, Paul told an interviewer that love is "a great balance between lust and respect."

"It absolutely hammered me," Craig told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "I’ve been married to Karen for 20 years now, going on 21 years. And I thought, ‘What a great analogy.’ And we’re at such a wonderful place in our life. And the older we get together, the more love we have and even the lust — she’s gotten better lookin’... But I thought that was great, because it is. It’s a fine line. It’s a balance between the lust and the respect that you have for that individual."

But, Craig winked, "I think I lust after her more than she does me."

Craig will perform "Love Remembers" Friday on ABC-TV’s "Good Morning, America."

He also has multiple appearances coming up on GAC. The special Craig Morgan: Back To Bragg airs Thursday at 7 p.m. ET and Saturday at 11 p.m. ET. That Saturday appearance comes after he’s officially inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry on Opry Live on October 25 , airing at 9 p.m. ET.
