Jan. 15, 2009 — "Heel to toe, dosey doe/Scootin' our boots, swingin' doors." Alan Jackson sang about line dancing in his 2008 single "Good Time" and then ended up at the head of the line when Marco Club Connection tabulated the Top 10 Country Dance Club Hits for the year.

Alan’s tongue-twister chorus nabbed the No. 1 spot in a poll of more than 215 nightclubs and dance instructors during the closing weeks of ’08. Alan, Toby Keith and Sugarland are among the well-established heavyweights who made the chart, but it also features some newcomers, including the Zac Brown Band, Matt Stillwell, Adam Gregory and Lady Antebellum.

The Top 10 dance hits of the year, according to Marco Club Connection, are:
1) Alan Jackson, "Good Time"
2) The Zac Brown Band, "Chicken Fried"
3) Kid Rock, "All Summer Long"
4) Matt Stillwell, "Shine"
5) Toby Keith, "She's a Hottie"
6) Lady Antebellum, "Love Don't Live Here"
7) Sugarland, "All I Wanna Do"
8) James Otto, "Just Got Started Lovin' You"
9) Adam Gregory, "Crazy Days"
10) Craig Morgan, "International Harvester"
